ASC 2019 Logo

Asian Science Camp 2019 (ASC 2019) will be held from 28 July to 3 August 2019 in Shantou, Guangdong Province, China.

As you may know, the idea of the ASC was born after the 55th annual meeting amongst Nobel Laureates and students in Lindau, Germany in 2005. The vision of ASC is to enlighten those science-talented youths through discussion and dialogue with top scholars in the world and to promote the friendship and cooperation among the young students of the next generation in Asia. It brings together around 300 talented young people selected from high schools (11th and 12th grade) and universities (1st and 2nd year) who are keenly interested and promising in sciences.

ASC 2019 is organized by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) with strong support from the Ministry of Education of China. Under the theme Science, Youth and the Future, ASC 2019 aims to help spread the spirit of science to millions of young people in Asia and across the world, to encourage them to participate in science exploration, to improve the lives of peoples and build our shared future together.

Provisional Agenda of the ASC 2019 can be found here.
